Meatyorologist
SeaTac's daily rainfall record is 5.02" on 10/20/2003. Chewbacca Defense
I was hanging out with some buddies last night, and a couple of them are avid waterfowl hunters. They said the migration has started early and the numbers are astonishing. One lives in the Skagit valley just east of I-5. He said about 500,000 geese had passed through the Skagit valley this time last year. This year....1 million. He also said ducks are showing up really early in good numbers. Another buddy lives in Lynden and said some of the fields have been so thick with geese people have been pulling off the road to take pictures. I think Mother Nature is trying to tell us something is brewing this winter. 4 1 Quote Britton Rd Bellingham Weather Station: https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KWABELLI103?cm_ven=localwx_pwsdash

Cloud
Really big 0z coming in. The models have yet to come to a resolution on how much rainfall Seattle will get. It's a tough situation mainly because of the Olympics rain shadow so it's kinda been flip flopping. Still a lot of uncertainty when the range given is 1.5" to 5". 3

Rubus Leucodermis
Bellingham really seems to be in the bullseye with this one. Pity I won't be there to experience it. At least I'm not missing out on a big snowfall. Secured long-term housing in Vancouver today. Given the tight housing situation, and how the clock is running out on this temporary rental, I basically had to take what came my way. Interestingly, it is at about 90 m / 300 feet elevation in what tends to be one of the snowier parts of the city proper, perhaps 40–50 cm / 16–20 in annually. So there’s that to look forward to. Maybe. Vancouver has had a long run of disappointing winters in the snow department in recent years. It has to end sometime, right? 6 Quote It's called clown range for a reason.
