Moderate rain and 41 out there. Feels wintery. I always enjoy these maritime polar airmasses, seem like an increasingly rare visitor in recent years.

That cluster of cooler ensemble members between the 5th and 7th is intriguing. Keeps popping up, enough to influence the mean on this run.

Of course, the Euro keeps the cold air to the east of us in that time frame. Move a large cutoff low into CA and we are in split flow. Would probably be cold at the surface, though.

Wetter pattern toward the end of the run.
