The NE California high desert has more soil moisture than Tim's place.

69/50 today. After going a whole 68 days of +70 weather we’ve had 3 sub 70 highs in a row and 6 out of the last 9 days have been below 70.

Better than the consequences of Phil weather... drizzle and 45 degrees all summer means that no trees can grow.   No fruits and vegetables either.   What a sad world.

Meh, the Mariners were due to drop a couple games. It’s good for them to play a team that is more desperate for wins than are. It was always going to come down to the last 10 against the Rangers/Astros.

Looks like Lee is going to take advantage of those warm ocean temps and made a run at some all-time strength records for the Atlantic. As close to a lock for a Cat 5 as one can get.

Will be interesting to see Lee can reach Dorian intensity levels. He was an absolute beast, 185mph gusts 225mph. Even Josh Morgerman was shook after that.

Weather round up for the past few days. Labor Day was absolutely stellar, clouds and drizzle around much of the day and a cool 65/56 spread. Yesterday was beautiful as well, coolest morning in a few months then some morning clouds and afternoon sunshine. 71/49.

A clear and cool 48 this morning. Upcoming weather generally looks nice, but it would be good to see the models move toward another wet pattern again soon, as opposed some recent runs that have been spitting out some nasty looking ridging in the long range. If we stay dry overall the next 2-3 weeks and get some heat and offshore flow mixed in the fires will be popping back up in no time.

Late October and early Nov cold and snow. Hopefully that bodes well for the coming winter.
