My daughter rescued this lightweight dog (Moe) many moons ago and nursed him back to life.  He selected me as the head of the pack!  

I was never aware of the cause to why tongue sticks out, but it always looks cute (not the other photo however lol)

Low is much further north even though the shortwave is dropping down faster. The block over Alaska isn't as strong which is allowing the system to come further north.

Looks like a good run for PDX out to 96hr. Eastern gradients eating the precip over W. WA.

Looks snowy for Western Washington on this run, just like most of the Euro members. Or maybe low ends up to far south.

1 PM Thursday (18z) on top and 00z on bottom. More snow for Portland. Seattle too

Wow, that secondary trough is going to swing down over WA. This could end up hilariously snowy for the lowlands.

The ICON is really bad at modeling convective lift. Realistically it would have looked like this.

One thing is for sure, the GFS 2m temp progs are still as ridiculous as they were back in January 2020.
