25.1756 degrees currently after a high of 32.2569 today.  Got some liquid gold for the genny just in case.  Like @MR.SNOWMIZER I feel like there could be more snow than progged before the switchover to potentially damaging ice.  How long we hold on to the offshore flow is important, but will need to keep any eye on the 825 and 950 temps starting tomorrow, I will post the current ones shortly and if an admin or staph member could pin the post they will update  as each hour passes on the forum at the top, @Meatyorologist @snow_wizard @TT-SEA, I know there are others, too lazy to find em.

I agree, it's a tough call because it's just a rare pattern to have such a warm storm moving in with such cold offshore flow. The pass gaps will feed a bunch of cold air In also. Snow or sleet will be the main precip over here, infact we could stay snow here for a long time because of the upslope and the cold pool building up into the atmosphere.

Does that go for Kitsap in general or for your specific location?

We get more direct access in these situations but you'll probably end up colder overnight if there's good radiation cooling. Looks like we'll end up with a midnight high of 22.8F here, the highest it got during daylight hours was 19.8F and it's since cooled back down a bit. The outflow is roaring now, getting some snow dunes on the rocky hills. This is pretty top tier stuff for Victoria.

The sweet spot for kitsap is belfair north to bremerton airport  to sunnslope then from there nw to seabeck. I probably no the snow zones in kitsap county better than anyone lol. West of that line btw.

Down to 8F here. We sat at 15F all night and most of today. Rapid drop though nothing like east of the Rockies.

It must be the high pressure and the cold air but my wood stove is ripping good. The draft is amazing!

Noting better than a wood stove in weather like this.

Forgot we had snow on this date two years ago today as well!

I had some too.  Pretty sad event though.  It is quite noteworthy to have snow three consecutive years in the same general time period though.

That's all we use to heat our home. Works awesome,  load it at 6pm, load it at 6am house stays 70 -72 degrees and the stove burns non stop for a month and we clean ashes. It burns very clean.

Gonna be crazy cold tomorrow morning this is the stuff you dream for man 😂 24 here after a high of 31

Just too bad it's going to end on kind of a sour note.  Pretty impressive event overall though.  I ended up with a little over 1.5" of snow from the whole thing.

EDIT: Actually just about 2 inches.

Just 0.8” here but I’m really enjoying it though. Snow should stick around through tomorrow and another solidly cold day as well.

The magnitude of this cold air mass is pretty incredible.  It has already made it down to Kansas east of the Rockies and there are still -50s and even some -60s in Canada.

Same. Nothing better. The electricity in our house is a bit dodgy (that's the next big investment we need to make, sigh) so we quickly got out of the habit of using the baseboards and only use the woodstove from pretty much October through April or so. It's the best.

I've been thinking about it all day, we were sooo close to something epic and probably would of been a top 5 all time blasts if the forcing would of been better. If this thing had dug just a little more we would of been looking at something incredibly cold and snowy. The Monday night would of been 12+ inches from Olympia north easy.
