My spot has never been a very good cold air drainage spot being elevated from the valley. Makes the -40 I saw last month seem even more impressive. That airmass was beautiful! Sure, it’s a quick hitter of a dry blast that’s more of an arctic fart than a true blast, but they can’t all be epic blasts. You would prefer instead endless Niño-like ridging with relentless 50-burgers and a few 60-burgers thrown in for good measure? South of Seattle I can understand some griping by this stage.
