The Indian Ocean MJO next month has the potential to be pretty bonkers in terms of amplitude on RMM plots. It will be in constructive interference with the developing base state, so should have a solid wave-1 profile in the VP200 fields.
The idea of volcanic CO2 as a long term climate driver is nothing more than a massive cope in attempt to explain cycles of rapid global warming in the proxy data (because none of our climate models can simulate such warming/cooling periods without changes to GHGes or aerosols).
