RSV. It’s so bad this year. While the kids have been recovering my wife and I both got it this week, it’s not as bad for adults, like a really bad head/chest cold.

My son got it and passed it on to my wife and I a few weeks back. Then the kid and wife got covid right after getting to AZ. I avoided that fortunately, but we also all had the flu back in September. We've never been sick so often.

Sandy Point Ferndale Wa. 41* with SSE winds at 20 mph (flag in photo blowing ).

if I stay here another day should fun watching the winds switch over to westerlies followed up by the northerlies!  I also thought I saw a snowflake  but just a seagull feather :(

Federal Way 34* but temp did drop to 32*at 1:55am.  Winds calm there

Anyone have the upgraded GFS snow totals?

The regular GFS keeps 925 temps around -1C with the Wednesday system despite southerly flow aloft which results in the large snow totals.

Let’s lock this little feature in for a week from today. Would be a huge snow producer for the foothills down here, and looks like Whatcom county gets blasted.

Snow in the foothills does not impress me much.

If you live in the mountains you get snow all the time.

That is true. Except in years like 2014-15… that one was rough.

Gfs and Gem are snowy…but atleast here in the south sound on the gfs we’re in a very marginal situation with the snowfall chances. Need things to trend a little colder. This set up would likely lead to some snow here at times but we’re riding very fine line at times from Seattle to Olympia.

Definitely one of the snowier runs we've seen so far for the central puget sound showing a foot and a half of snow.

Also seems a bit cooler for the entire area than the recent runs?

Yeah I think so. I count 4 lows dropping down from the north in the next 9’days on this run. Some of them may not work out for all of us, some may not work out for anyone, but we are going to be in the game so to speak.

If we can have just one nice cold day with a fresh six inches on the ground that’s a big win in my book
