VancouverIslandSouth
A general 3-5 inches for most all of Victoria. Not bad. Still a bit concerned by the radar, the band that should be producing that seems to be caught up further north. We need to see the radar fill in more to our west. Randyc321
Nope. They seem just as wrong as me though in terms of forecasting our local weather. And knowing my microclimate helps me immensely in terms of knowing what will happen here specifically. Ok, here is the issue with this. Yes. You can do a better job of forecasting your area than the Pro's because you are focusing on a micro-climate you know intimately. Can you imagine trying to supply that level of data to the public en masse? That will require more technology than we have now. They frustrate me, but they have very broad base to feed. They have got a better job than mine. They are doing something right.

Chewbacca Defense
Its kind of interesting to watch the freezing line expand across Whatcom County. I'm usually not sitting at a computer when these events happen. Snow intensity has slowed so it is melting off the road. Need that freezing line to get to my house, showing 32.4 on the weather station so its close!
