my God, this forum has devolved into the worst of the worst. It's always emotional and reactionary in here, but it seems that the rational and seasoned members have pulled back to make way for the kids.
I'm going to step back for the day too. It's just too much uninformed nonsense.
I am excited for a lot of you guys, because it seems like this is your first time tracking a PNW winter storm. I remember my first time.
12Z EPS and control run on board for speeding up the timing of the ridge a little bit. Even though the ridge will only last for a few hours it will still be nice.
The forum meet this year is going to need a few dark and hidden corners, 1 for Phil and Jessy, 1 for Tim and Chris, and 1 for Andrew and mossman.. The shenanigans that unfold will be quite the opposite of arguing...
Nah... just taking it one week at a time. We are getting within one week of when the EPS has been showing the ridge building. Not concerned about the back side... that will change many times. Just hoping we can get a pattern change even for a few days. It will be 3 weeks with a single warmer than normal day at SEA by early next week. That streak needs to end!
Phil doesn’t have the best track record of predicting PNW troughing between mid June and early September or so, for whatever reason. In fact it’s usually the KOD for us.
