I thought I was going to get trapped on the Corvallis side of the river. Hwy 34 got closed right there at Corvallis, so all traffic had to divert to Hwy 20. I think it took me 3-4 hours to get home. That was a crazy event. My finance was at home that day, and we were supposed to be getting married on the Portland Spirit. She was freaking out thinking something would happen to the boat. She felt better after they said on the news it had moved out to the Columbia and was rafted up to a barge. Was surprised to see seals swimming around in that mess.
