SilverFallsAndrew
Today was pretty glorious, except for everything is so dry and dusty, and the air was quite hazy. Was 70 up here around 3:30 and 66 down in Silverton. See how tough the inversion can hang in the valley this week, I guess it’s supposed to wane quite a bit. Nws says 83 at Salem tomorrow. Only made 73 today. 3 Quote Snowfall Precip 2022-23: 95.0" 2022-23: 17.39" 2021-22: 52.6" 2021-22: 91.46" 2020-21: 12.0" 2020-21: 71.59" 2019-20: 23.5" 2019-20: 58.54" 2018-19: 63.5" 2018-19: 66.33" 2017-18: 30.3" 2017-18: 59.83" 2016-17: 49.2" 2016-17: 97.58" 2015-16: 11.75" 2015-16: 68.67" 2014-15: 3.5" 2013-14: 11.75" 2013-14: 62.30 2012-13: 16.75" 2012-13: 78.45 2011-12: 98.5" 2011-12: 92.67" It's always sunny at Winters Hill! I apologize if I’m coming off uncivil. Here's reality. Summer was hot and it hasn't rained in forever. That's reality. What do we know? Nothing. We don't know what will happen the rest of this month, this winter or next Summer. We can look at models and conditions and discuss how we think it might play out, but we just don't know. We don't know how this triple dip La Nina will play out. We could set record with temp and snow. I've always said 1950 happened once and it can happen again. Jim is just passionate and loves weather. There's nothing wrong with that. What's really frustrating? Someone posting something from the GFS and believe it. Or someone from here or social media killing the vibe because it's doing it's own thing and someone "well i'm not sold yet because the GFS isn't in agreement". It's fun to look it, but we all know that needs to be decommissioned and burned. 2
