snow_wizard
Doing a deep dive on ENSO it appears this Nina isn't going anywhere soon. OLR 5N to 5S - 160W to 160E is still cranking along, and the subsurface anoms are holding remarkably steady. It's a dead standoff between the cold subsurface water in the east and the warm water in the west. This is about the most static I have seen it as far as the anomalies staying put. 2 Quote Death To Warm Anomalies! Really wanted to but it was just too far east. Dropped south at Butte on our way to West Yellowstone and Jackson Hole. Someday I want to visit your beautiful city. Maybe in the winter too to experience all that winter has to offer.
