Early December 1994 had a really nice event for the south sound. 3-8" from Olympia to Tacoma.

We even had several inches in Silverton.

Not bad. Going to be very cold onshore flow and low snow levels.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Doesn't really look all that different for here. Hopefully later December can offer up some goodies once the plan moves forward.

Meanwhile down to 33 here already.  These past couple of days have been way colder than what models had shown a few days ago.  This looks like a lock for coldest November of the century for MBY.

Worth noting that January comes after late December.

This must be close to what the GEFS is showing.1669960800-FgvfjP96z54.png

I mean...it's hard not to be excited seeing something region wide. Who knows if it will verify, but it's definitely a real possibility, to state the obvious.

I legit feel bad coming back on this site and see that our southern friends in the lowlands didn't score the white stuff.

When was the last region-wide storm?  2008?

Anyone else get a sense an eastward shift trend is beginning starting tonight.

To be honest I can't really trust my gut feelings right now.  I was beginning to have serious doubts.

I spy something moving down that ridge towards us.

If that cutoff off the coast of N. Cal doesn't mess things up that has real potential.

Thanks for asking. They are doing pretty well, my daughter was in the hospital the entire weekend last weekend, and was still extremely ill for a couple of days, but has been doing a lot better the past couple of days. Sleeping a lot, but getting back to her regular self.

What kind of illness was it?
