Purty sure PDX and SEA bottomed out at -21c.

As a weather pleb, this is the worst night ever to knit and try to follow the forum at the same time...so much going on! Every refresh carries its own plot twists! 

From what I'm gathering, I shouldn't run up and down our road shouting at the neighbors to prepare for the end, but I should quietly take stock of my snow-and-ice supplies and take an appraising look at my leadup-to-Christmas plans in case anything needs to be canceled.

Sound about right?

And this is the ECMWF showing a massive arctic blast... carries a little more weight than the GFS.

It will be interesting to see what the EPS shows.    Guess I have to stay up even later!

It did in 1990 too. My parents house looked out towards commencement bay and there was a lot of ice
