We might be in for a treat... 00z ICON looks goated!!

NO!! go back and do that bit you did before the earlier runs. Be all angsty and negative. It worked wonders!

Opposite is usually true in the summer though!

Another localized climate feature of the area. The urban heat bubble balanced does balance it out some. So much more vegetation east.

Tuesday has become sneaky turbulent and stormy.    This is the new ICON but all models show it now.   Doesn't seem to have much bearing on what happens later per the ECMWF.

This storm on Tuesday looks like it could be a widespread wind event. Need to keep an eye on this storm. It would be amazing if we got a windstorm then a snowstorm and a Arctic Outbreak all in one week 😏🌨❄️

Ngl those look super gross.

I switched when it became harder to find Bang drinks. The fruity ones aren't too bad.

My partner loves the Arctic and Island vibes.

They keep me going at work, if I'm dragging I'll have a coffee as well.

This'll be my last quarter at UW with 3 classes left to go. But almost no work has been done since model riding 😂

On a sunny summer day... proximity to the Sound makes a big difference.  I watched this all summer with my son living in Ballard.  It was usually 8-10 degrees warmer in North Bend on sunny days.

TIL Australia has a model, lol

Here’s more information about it. It’s resolution is 25km.

“The Australian Community Climate and Earth-System Simulator (ACCESS) weather models have been developed and tested by research staff from the Bureau's Research & Development Branch and are based on the UK Meteorological Office's Unified Model. ACCESS output is available in map form or as gridded data products.“

I remember that one pretty well. I remember looking out west I could see so many transformers blowing up. I also remember during the Jan 2019 windstorm there were transformers blowing up as well. Surprisingly didn’t lose power during the Jan 2019 one. I think the part of Duvall that’s on the other power grid did. Lost power for a week from the Hanukkah eve one.

I remember it started when I was at my cousins in Redmond. It was late evening and all of a sudden it started getting really breazy, we grabbed garbage bags and started playing in the wind. On the way home we were driving around fallen trees

Oh for sure that dwarfs the urban heat bubble

12z from this morning, to 00z just released. That cold air is moving much farther over the ocean in the newer run. This is very good.
