Out here in Issaquah we were all snow, about an inch, then waffled with some light mixed precip, now back to all snow and the parts of the concrete that got soupy with the mix is starting to cover back up.

Been fun to watch. Pretty, but not too impactful.

Think it will switch back with heavier precip?

The snow is done in Victoria, just 37F rain and wind. Was almost an inch on the ground in the morning but it's melting off rapidly

I attended Tim’s symposium on snow melt over the summer and he talked about scenarios just like this.

Peak heating with light precip rates right now. Temps should fall 2-3 degrees most places with the heavier returns later this afternoon into the evening. Things look as good or slightly better than I was expecting so far. Still like a general Trace-2” South of Seattle and 2-5” North of Seattle elevation dependent.

Yeah, encouraging to see that I’m sitting at 33 still during peak heating with no sight of mixed precip and I’m at 170’ right in DT Everett. Excited for later.

GFS still erroneously aggressive with Cascade gap outflow, but temps will fall this evening at least Seattle north. Will it be enough for stickage, or even a switch back? We'll see!

The sun is going down and getting less powerful, and precip is picking up.

38° and rain. I did just see a plow truck drive by, where they're going I have no idea.....lol

With all the maps and forecasts and predictions, I've gotten throughly mixed up and confused (not hard to do).....Do those of us south of Tacoma have a shot at snow TONIGHT....or is our better chance TOMORROW night...? Or is it a crapshoot and anything can happen?
